No. Olive wood should be washed by hand with warm water and mild soap, then dried immediately. The dishwasher and long soaking damage the fibres and can cause cracks.
How do I care for an olive wood board?
Every now and then, nourish it with a thin layer of oil made for boards (food-grade mineral oil or linseed oil). This hydrates the wood, brings out the grain and extends its life.
